I nothing lack if I am His and He is mine forever.” Also of Mary Elizabeth, the beloved wife of the Rev. Peake Banton, who died Nov 17 1897, aged 74. The Lord knoweth them that are His. 2. Tim 2-19. In loving memory of The Reverend Herbert Rider Banton M.A. Fellow of the Jesus College, Cambridge, Chaplain to the Lord Bishop of Durham. Youngest son of the Rev Peake Banton and Mary Elizabeth Banton. He died November 21, 1886, aged 27. Also of Mary Alice Banton, their daughter, who died Feb 14th 1898. This stone is put up to their memory by their eldest child, H. Harris Brown, whose greatest friend was his mother. Her love and self-sacrifice will never be forgotten by her children. Her husband in his tender and true heart ever kept alight the lamp of remembrance. He longed for her. Henry Harris Brown, artist. Died 12th July 1948 aged 83. Arthur Barrie Brown, his brother, died 2nd Feb. 1947, aged 83.
