Severe affliction kindly sent in love. Led her to Christ and trained her to God above. The end now seen, how short, how light appear. The longest suffering she experienced here. Also in memory of Cornelius Oakes, husband of above. Born January 16th 1819. Died July 11th 1871. Hasten sinner to be wise. Await not for tomorrows sun. That to Thee may never rise. Morn may see Thy soul undone. |
